Together with 2 of my friends (Ciocan Ioan and Andrei) I've been working to a new 3D printer. We wanted to create a robust, large print area, fast and low cost 3D printer. This week we have been able to make the first tests which are more than impressive. Even from the first try I've been able to get a better quality than my existing Orca 0.3 from Mendel Parts (Orca has been modified last summer to have T2.5 belts on X and Y axis and linear bearings on the Z axis).
I also been able to print at 400 mm/s (I have not tried more) - and the quality is still very good.
